ULUSLARARASI İLİŞKİLER BİRİMİ 
Within the scope of the Visiting Scientist Support Program, supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), Assoc. Prof. ChM. Dr. Roswanira Abdul Wahab and Prof. Fahrul Zaman Huyop from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) visited Ondokuz Mayıs University, Samsun, Türkiye, between 20 December 2025 and 5 January 2026.
The visit was carried out within the framework of ongoing joint research activities with Dr. Yılmaz Kaya at the Faculty of Agriculture, OMU, aiming to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.
During their stay, the delegation also visited the International Relations Office. Head of the Office, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Aycan, and Vice Head, Asst. Prof. Dr. Deren Başak Akman Yeşilel, provided comprehensive information on OMU’s internationalization policies, ongoing global partnerships, and the core mission and activities of the IRO.
This visit highlights OMU’s commitment to internationalization and the development of sustainable global academic partnerships through collaborative research and mobility programs.
