INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE 
The university delegation led by Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın visited the University of Prizren “Ukshin Hoti” (UPZ), located in the city of Prizren, Kosovo. The delegation was received by UPZ Rector Prof. Dr. Mentor Alişani and members of the university administration.
During the meetings, discussions were held on strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities. Key agenda items included academic staff exchange, student mobility, the development of joint research projects, and the organization of international academic activities, in line with the shared objective of enhancing institutional collaboration.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, UPZ Rector Prof. Dr. Mentor Alişani stated that he was pleased to further advance the strong relations that the University of Prizren has established over the years with Turkish universities.
In her address, OMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın stated the following:
“I am delighted to be here today and to elevate our cooperation with the University of Prizren to a new level. We place great importance on further strengthening our academic and cultural ties. Offering joint projects, exchange programs, and research opportunities for our students and academic staff will generate significant benefits for both institutions. I firmly believe that the steps we take based on mutual understanding and friendship will contribute meaningfully to the higher education systems of both countries. ”
The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to take concrete steps toward the development of joint academic and research programs between the two universities.
