INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE 
Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) took part in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo, held in San Diego, United States, under the “Study in Türkiye” pavilion led by the Turkish National Agency.
This year’s conference welcomed approximately 8,000 participants from 103 countries, representing 320 pavilions. As one of the most significant global events for promoting and marketing international higher education, student exchange programs, and universities, the expo garnered widespread attention and participation.
The fair drew considerable interest from international student recruitment offices and marketing professionals representing universities worldwide. In addition to institutional promotion efforts, the event featured expert-led conferences on topics such as international higher education, studying abroad, and internationalization strategies.
Representing OMU at the expo, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu, Head of the International Relations Office, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tütüncü, Erasmus Coordinator, conducted institutional promotion meetings and engaged in bilateral cooperation and exchange program discussions with fellow participants. OMU’s participation was part of a broader national effort coordinated by the Turkish National Agency, alongside many other Turkish universities.
