Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) International Relations Office had the pleasure of hosting distinguished representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda. The visit, attended by Embassy representatives Ms. Lydia Kambabazi, Ms. Mirembe Deborah Dorcus, and Ms. Susan Bwanswa Ssewagudde, was organized with the aim of fostering bilateral cooperation, exploring partnership opportunities in the field of education, and promoting cultural exchange programs.
During the meetings held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu, Head of the International Relations Office, the existing cooperation potential was discussed within the framework of OMU’s internationalization vision. The parties exchanged ideas on strengthening educational and cultural ties and expressed a strong mutual commitment to furthering collaboration through future joint projects and exchange programs.

This meaningful visit from the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda marks a significant step in advancing the university’s global outreach and partnership policies.
