INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE 
The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on "AI-Enhanced Language Learning for Sustainable Future", organized by the International Relations Office of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), was held in Samsun on 15–19 June 2026. The programme's online session took place on 10 June 2026.
The programme was the second of three Erasmus+ BIPs organized back to back by the OMU International Relations Office in June.
A total of 20 students from Poland, Romania, Portugal, Slovenia and Lithuania took part in the programme. The lectures and workshops were delivered by OMU academics and covered AI literacy, sustainability in language education, the environmental impact of AI, eco-linguistics, machine translation and cultural mediation, and intercultural communication in the AI era. In addition to the academic content, participants were offered a cultural and social programme consisting of a campus tour, a city tour and a day trip.
The programme concluded with a closing ceremony and farewell dinner at which the certificates were presented. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the academic content of the programme and with their experience in Samsun.
