INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE 
The second week of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on "AI-Enhanced Language Learning for Sustainable Future", organized by the International Relations Office of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), was held in Samsun on 22–26 June 2026. The programme's online session took place on 17 June 2026.
The programme was the last of three Erasmus+ BIPs organized back to back by the OMU International Relations Office in June.
A total of 20 students from Slovenia, Spain, Romania, Poland and Bulgaria took part in the programme. The lectures and workshops were delivered by OMU academics and covered AI literacy, sustainability in language education, the environmental impact of AI, eco-linguistics, machine translation and cultural mediation, and intercultural communication in the AI era. The programme also included cultural and social activities such as a welcome dinner, a campus tour, a day trip and a gathering over a traditional Turkish breakfast.
The programme concluded with a closing ceremony and group photo at which the certificates were presented. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the academic content of the programme and with their experience in Samsun.
