Kazakhstan Independence Day was celebrated at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ).
The event celebrating Kazakhstan's Independence Day was organized to honor the significance of the country’s independence and promote its culture. It was attended by many students and guests.
The event featured the participation of Ardakzhan Askhatkyzy Bekenova, the Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ankara, Dr. Olcay Bayraktar, International Student Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Serkan Şen, Director of OMÜ-TÖMER, and Av. Hakan Karaduman, President of UDEF Samsun Branch. After a moment of silence and the national anthems, the participants delivered their speeches.
Throughout the event, Kazakhstan's culture was introduced. Authentic Kazakh dishes were offered to the participants, and a photo exhibition showcasing Kazakhstan's history and culture garnered significant attention. Kazakh songs were performed with the accompaniment of the dombra, while traditional Kazakh dance performances added color to the event. Additionally, the event continued with exciting quiz competitions and cultural performances.
The program concluded in an atmosphere that reflected the significance and meaning of Kazakhstan's Independence Day, fostering cultural exchange among participants from various nations.
