A visit was made from Moldova's Comrat State University to the International Relations Unit of Ondokuz Mayıs University.
As part of the Erasmus program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetlana Ghenova, Vice Rector for Research and International Relations at Moldova's Comrat State University, visited the International Relations Unit of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU).
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu, Head of the International Relations Unit, Dr. Mehmet TÜTÜNCÜ, Deputy Head of the Unit and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, Dr. Ahmet AYCAN, Deputy Head of the Unit and Coordinator of International Bilateral Cooperation, and staff members Betül Yıldırım, Tuğçe Karaz, and Ayfer Akbulut. The discussions aimed to enhance academic collaboration between the two universities and increase opportunities for joint work on international projects. OMU representatives from the International Relations Office shared information on existing protocols between the institutions and future collaboration opportunities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetlana Ghenova emphasized the importance of international projects at Comrat State University and highlighted the need to increase student and staff exchanges between the two universities within the framework of the Erasmus Program.
OMU officials expressed their pleasure regarding the visit and reaffirmed their determination to strengthen international cooperation efforts. At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to plan various projects and events to further advance their collaboration.
This visit was considered an important step in line with OMU's internationalization strategy.
