Nasratullah Morad, an Afghan student who came to Türkiye with a scholarship from the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), completed his master’s degree at the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ). Morad has recently made a significant academic contribution by discovering a previously unknown Afghanistan manuscript of Divan-i Hikmet.
According to a special report by TRT Haber, this rare version of the seminal work by Khoja Ahmed Yasawi was identified by Morad during his research in Afghanistan. Details about the manuscript’s content and existence were shared with the public for the first time through TRT’s broadcast.
Morad stated that he began his academic journey in Türkiye and expressed his pride in contributing to the legacy of Turkic-Islamic cultural heritage.
