OMU Organizes Online Introduction Meeting for Kenyan Students
Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) International Relations Office (IRO) organized an online introduction meeting for Kenyan students interested in pursuing higher education in Türkiye. The event, which highlighted the educational opportunities in Türkiye, Samsun, and OMU, garnered significant interest.
The coordination of the meeting was managed by Bilquees J. Ingrid, who voluntarily supports OMU's promotional activities in Kenya. During the event, Lecturer Tolga Arslan from OMU's Corporate Communication Unit delivered a detailed presentation covering the educational opportunities and related topics offered by the university.
Abu Kamara, a student from Sierra Leone who has completed his master's and doctorate at OMU and is currently pursuing his second doctorate, shared his experiences and advice with the Kenyan students.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session addressing Kenyan students' questions. The students expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and their aspirations to become OMU students.
