The Principles Determined by the Senate for the International Students to be Accepted within 10 Percent Quota

On the condition of taking the International Student Exam (OMU-YÖS);

a) Those who have ranked first, second and third in the exams in Mauritania, Mali, Gabon, Chad, Cameroon, Niger, Guinea, Somalia, Somaliland, Tanzania, Afghanistan, Pakistan will be evaluated within this scope as of 2021-2022 Registration Period. This article will be applied during the entire placement period.

b) Candidates are quired to have a score of 12 and higher for the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry and a score of 10 or higher for the other faculties in the International Baccalaureate Fr. Exam. This exam is carried out locally in African countries and it is recognized internationally.

c) Candidates are quired to have a score of 33 and higher for the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry and a score of 30 and higher for the other faculties in the International Baccalaureate Exam.

d) Candidates are quired to have a score of at least 1200 or higher for the "Math" and "Evidence Based Reading and Writing sections on the SAT Reasoning (SAT I) Test for the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry and a score of 1000 and higher for the other faculties.

e) YÖS exam results will be added to the application scores of these candidates as 10%.

Without taking the International Student Exam (OMU-YÖS);

f) For the 2021-2022 academic year, those who certify the programme they have been accepted with the State University National Entrance Exam (SBMPTN), which is valid for direct entry into the university from Indonesia will be exempt from taking the OMU-YÖS exam and the exams mentioned above.

g) For the only 2021-2022 academic year, candidates will be exempt from taking the OMUYÖS exam in Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Senegal, North Macedonia, Greece (Komotini), and Ethiopia, where the OMU-YÖS exam has been canceled due to the pandemic. Candidates from these countries are required to get a minimum score or higher in the Baccalaureate SAT and GCA-L examinations.

h) Applications with the International Student Exams of other universities recognized by our university will be evaluated in additional quotas, and the stated 10% quota will not be used for these candidates.

i) The 20% country quota specified in the second paragraph of Article 8 of the Ondokuz Mayıs University International Students Admission Directive is valid for the placement, and no exceptions will be made for the 10% quota.

j) Since the results of the international exams are announced on different dates depending on the countries, the registration of the students within the scope of this article is extended until the end of the first month of the academic year.
